Most standalone Extended Reality (XR) headsets, such as the Meta Quest 3 or HTC Vive Focus, run on Android Operating Systems. As a result, when developing a standalone XR application, you'll need to build it as an Android Package Kit (.apk), allowing it to run directly on the headset without requiring a tethered connection to the computer.
